The Flavors story...
Once upon a time a lame garage band existed in the Bognor area, consisting of Nick Hales, Sam and Steven Galloway and an unnamed drummer. The band imploded in late 1998, and reformed minus the drummer but with local axeman James Bartley on guitar.

The band struggled on as GBH (Galloway, Bartley, Hales) playing seedy dives around Pagham until the arrival of Andy Phipps on drums. At this point the name Flavors was chosen in homage to spiritual mentors Gomez, and the rest isn't history just yet!

After which...
Flavors continued to gig, playing several pubs in Bognor such as the Robin Hood, the Unicorn, the Lamb Steyne, Cheers and the Family Tree. The band also played the Sands of Time festival, and the Bands Night event at their school BRCC. A recording session at Pagham Yacht Club produced the first Flavors CD, The Yacht Club Sessions. This CD was produced by KRASH Records Inc.

In the summer of 2001 the band received a break from Maximum High, who offered them a support slot at the TraxII venue. 2001 also saw Flavors play the Rox festival for the first time. The band are looking to increase the number of venues they play, and will soon release a live CD, see 'Raise Up The Anchor'.
